I am a homeopath currently based in Cork, Ireland, registered with the Irish Society of Homeopaths, with 20 plus years experience in holistic healthcare. This includes counseling clients, through the homeopathic approach to in depth case taking, as part of the healing process.
Additionally, to my specializations mentioned above, I have experience, and a special interest in childhood behavioral issues, including autism, and have seen a good healing response in this area by using indicated constitutional remedies.. I was first introduced to this highly effective medicinal discipline, when I first had my own young family, which changed my perspective in relation to healthcare, given the option of a natural therapeutic method of treating disease of the body and mind, by gentle yet effective means.
Seeing first hand, the results achieved by our family homeopath at the time, a highly skilled homeopath and MD, while I was navigating through the early years of childhood illnesses, made me realize that I was prepared to explore this healing modality in depth, in an academic setting, as it I knew that going forward, it would be something that I could use to benefit both myself and my own family, as well as bring it to other people, who were looking for a more therapeutic holistic healing approach to healthcare.
As Homeopathy had become the primary form of healthcare for my family, this eventually prompted me to undergo a 4 year professional training course, with the Irish College of Homeopathic Medicine, ICHM, followed by, a further year of study, before becoming a registered member of a professional body of homeopaths.
Of course, The rest is history, and the journey continues…
